Great day yesterday and thoroughly deserved by the club and this group of players and I don't just mean the match day 19. Many players have played 1st XV rugby this season (35) and all have played their part in getting the club promoted. The supporters were magnificent yesterday and it was great to see so many ex players in attendance. You all made it a special day. Banbury were excellent opposition who kept coming back at us making the game a little too exciting! Final stats for all games for 1sts are Played 30 Won 26 Lost 4
However, the job is not finished yet as next Sunday we have 2 Cheshire Plate Finals to play by our U13s (@ Northwich RUFC v Stockport) and U16s (@ Sale RFC v Chester) and we need to support those players in the same manner as yesterday because they are our future.
