21 games played: 12 wins 9 losses. Player availability: 17 Average availability :14. Performance: Finished 2nd, scoring 2 tries to 1 conceded.

This season saw the team face new levels of difficulties, not in the heart or ownership of their responsibilities, but around availability and injury issues.
When attending the pre season meetings we were told you'd need a squad of 25 players and at least 5 coaching / management staff no matter what level you play at.
We not only lasted two split league campaigns but finished 2nd from top only losing out to a technicality whilst teams with larger squads, more coaches than you can shake a stick at were falling by the wayside or struggling to play fixtures.
This shows the character of the team and each individual player wanting to play for their club regardless of the obstacles put in front of them.
Add to that a number of these players regularly playing senior rugby on a Saturday.
This small team of players have largely been playing together since they were 5, but with each new player joining, unbreakable friendships have been made which will strengthen their own characters as they go off to challenge themselves in other areas.
I know I speak for Steve and myself when I say we couldn't be any more proud of the young men they have all become and in the way they have developed themselves.
The potential they all hold can be seen in players such as George Spalding, Joe Telfer and Tim Hagan who have all made a mark for their future by either playing at a higher level, running out with the 1st team or winning the accolade of their peers.
A huge thank you should also go out to all the parents who have supported the team over the years, what the team have achieved over the season could not have been achieved without the backing and sacrifice of each of you. Thank you all very much and can I wish you all the best of fortunes for the future.
Chris
